Think and find answer with cool mind . It has become quite a popular activity to operate a game server in some two or three last years. A game server is usually a software application on a dedicated server to allow gamers gather online to play against one another in a certain location.Game servers are usually developed in a form of a standard component that can be found in many games that have a multiplayer option. After this kind of business became popular, hosting companies immediately responded to the growing demand and started offering dedicated servers for online gaming to both those who want to make business and to those who are simply enthusiastic. Generally game server hosting caters to two main groups of online games - those available from the main server, and those that operate through a series of distributed ones. Centralized servers are mostly often used to host games that require these servers to be able to host thousands of users playing at the same time. The main server stores all the necessary data about the game environment and the cyber world is there 24 hours 7 days a week. The game goes on no matter if the user is online or offline. To participate in the game, a player usually needs special client software that connects to the main server. One of the most popular game using the technology of centralized servers is the World of Warcraft. Another model is the distributed servers technology. This one is usually utilized by enthusiasts and small businesses. In this model the software is distributed onto several dedicated game servers. As an example, real-time strategies are usually based on this technology. They need frequent updates of the game world that is executed through messaging between users and servers. There should be a master server in this chain to control messaging between the whole bunch of distributed servers. Low latency and fast ping time - that is what needed for this model to be successful and ensure the fast speed of messages reaching the server and coming back to the user. Users usually choose servers with the best ping rates and connect to them to play online. That is why game server hosting companies connect their servers to the fastest networks. Security, operating system and applications tweaking and thorough configuration are also very important. Hosting providers usually supply their clients with game server hosting services that include the most technologically advanced servers and network connections, very often with the preinstalled software to start online gaming business immediately. The most popular games using the technology of distributed servers are: Doom 3, Medal of Honor, Halo, Unreal Tournament, Counter Strike, Quake 3 etc. Game server hosting providers are expected to significantly increase their revenue due to such rapid growth figures of online gaming. Many hosting companies have already build up a wide range of special game server hosting offers including even those for $30-40 a month. This is significantly cheaper than many low-performance dedicated servers.
DOWNLOAD GAME BY INTERNETPeople who have computers and are connected to the internet can easily download and install different kinds of games from the internet for use on portable gaming units. These games come in many different choices and genres for your gaming pleasure and can either be free games or games you have to purchase to be able to download them. The choices in games you have for download and installation on your computer then to your PSP actually covers quite a huge spectrum of game types. What You NeedYou will need a few things before you can get started. Aside from your PC and an internet connection, you will need a memory stick that is compatible with your PSP and a PSP unit that has firmware version 1.0 or version 1.5.What To DoOnce you have your PSP and your memory stick ready, you can begin downloading your game of choice onto your PC. 1. To make sure that the game you are downloading can be used on your PSP, try to check for firmware compatibility with your PSP's firmware version. Homebrew games are usually compatible with firmware versions that are either 1.0 or 1.5. Any firmware versions beyond that are usually incompatible with Homebrew games. After you have downloaded the game on your PC, double check to see that the game you downloaded is compatible with your psp.2. After you have downloaded the game file you want for your PS, you will need to check if it is in a compressed form. You will then need to unzip it or uncompress it for upload to your PSP.3. Connect your PSP to your PC with the use of its USB cable. This cable comes with the unit upon purchase. Make sure your memory card is in your PS before you connect.4. You will then need to copy the game to your PSP and save it in the proper game folders on your PSP. You need to remember that your memory stick needs to have a PSP folder with a GAMES folder in it where you must place your game files in for it to run properly on your PSP. You will then need to copy all the files of the game for your PSP into the GAMES folder inside the PSP folder of your PSP unit.5. Disconnect your unit from your PC and check your PSP for the files you just copied. It should be in the memory stick option. The games should be listed on the games list of the memory card. You can then scroll down to the game you just installed and play it till your heart's content.

The video game development, marketing and distribution industry moves so fast that it often leaves observers wondering ‘where to next?’….Video and PC games have come along way in a relatively short space of time. Gaming consoles such as the Nintendo Wii, the X-Box and the PS3 have revolutionized the way that users interact with the software. The rapid development and deployment of broadband solutions have meant that thousands of home users across the world are able to interact in virtual worlds. As the hardware progresses, the graphics get sharper, faster and smoother until users can no longer tell whether they are watching a high definition movie or playing a game. With all these rapid developments taking place, industry pundits are trying to find out where the industry is headed. Will it be increased Artificial Intelligence? How about crossovers between virtual worlds? Will user interfaces change to put users “in” the game? While I believe that all of the above will see some development and evolution, I believe that a major aspect that will change will not so much be the technology as the industry. Software these days is becoming increasingly interchangeable and compatible. 3rd party developers are able to develop world, widgets, ad on, new weapons or characters etc and drop them into the middle of ‘proprietary’ software. Obviously this interactivity between 3rd party developers and the original developers is great for the usability and expansion of the game it is likely to place increasingly greater pressure on traditional revenue models…. Games are already no longer just a case of buying a piece of software in a box from the retailer and playing them. There are data, character and expansion packs or editors that users are now demanding and available for free download from the internet. The cost of developing cutting edge gaming platforms with high speed engines and graphics all come at a cost and developers are going to need to identify ways to generate annuity income from their titles. Developing sequel after sequel might do the trick now but if gaming continues to evolve then OTHER people will be developing your sequels and you won’t see any of the revenue.Game developers themselves need to be looking at their business models going forward and try to identify potential sources of income from their titles. The continued flexibility of game development platforms are great for the consumers but not in the long term may eventually hurt the developers themselves.
